Change in Assessment Process for Adding a Road to the Restricted Access Vehicle Network (RAV)

Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services (HVS) has changed the assessment process for approving a road to be added or amended to a Restricted Access Vehicle (RAV) Network.

• From 1 September 2016, the applicant will submit their application to Main Roads.
• Main Roads will obtain written support from the road owner.
• Support from the road owner should be provided within a 4 week timeframe.
