                                                                 PROPOSED POLICY RELATING TO STOCK GRIDS

The Council is proposing to consider a new Policy relating to Stock Grids.

A stock grid is a device installed into a road to restrict the movement of stock, especially when a fence or gate would be inconvenient or dangerous.

When a proposal to install a grid in a road under the Council’s ‘care, control and maintenance’ it can only be done so with the Council’s authority.

Submissions are invited from members of the public relating to the proposed policy.

The submission period will extend until 6 June 2023.
