Nursing Post
Formerly a Mining Wardens residence (W Lambden-Owen, author of "Cossack Gold", was Warden of North Coolgardie Goldfield in 1896), the Nursing Post is a lovely old stone building. The first actual hospital in Menzies was a makeshift tent hospital accommodating three beds located in the centre of town. The Nursing Post is still used for weekly Clinics run by visiting Nurses and monthly visits from the Flying Doctor.
Opening Hours: 3 Days per week (advised locally) 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
