18 September to 31 October (inclusive)

Prohibited Burning Period

1 November to 30 April (inclusive)

Restricted Burning Period 2

1 May to 31 May (inclusive)

Unrestricted Season

1 June to 17 September

Dates may change according to seasonal conditions, which will be advertised on the Shire of Menzies website. 

All burning is prohibited on days where:

• the fire Danger Rating is Extreme or above, 
• a Total Fire Ban is declared, or
• a Harvest and Vehicle Movement Ban is declared.
