Position Title: Cleaner

Employment Status: Permanent Full-Time or Fixed-Term Contract (negotiable)

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation across Shire buildings, facilities, and public spaces. Your duties will include completing scheduled cleaning tasks, maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met, and reporting any maintenance issues or hazards. You will work independently while following established cleaning schedules and procedures to help provide clean, safe, and welcoming facilities for staff and visitors.

Competitive salary: $34–$37 per hour, depending on the successful applicant’s experience. Penalty rates apply for weekend work in accordance with the relevant Award.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will be able to work independently, follow cleaning schedules, deliver a high standard of cleanliness, and be available for early starts and some weekend work as required.
