Position Title:               Visitor Services Officer

Are you passionate about tourism and dedicated to enhancing the visitor experience in a vibrant community? If so, we want you to join our team as a Visitor Services Officer on a full-time basis in Menzies, just 134kms from Kalgoorlie and 101kms from Leonora, offering easy access to larger towns and a peaceful rural lifestyle.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing tourism services, overseeing key landmarks, and providing exceptional customer service at the Menzies Visitor Centre. Your duties will include: reviewing local points of interest, managing signage and promotional materials, and liaising with other departments for the upkeep of tourism assets such as the Lady Shenton building and the Caravan Park. You will also play an integral part in ensuring a welcoming and informative experience for all visitors, assisting with event coordination and offering administrative support as needed.
